Haixingsha Island Urban Design

Site planning, landscape and architectural design services were provided to develop the concept design for Haixingsha, an island in the Pearl River in the City of Guanzhou. Located at the south end of the main north-south axis of the city's new CBD development, Haixingsha will provide a new "Civic Garden" for the city and will include community recreation space, a large civic-scaled festival space, art and cultural amenities as well as public access to water transportation and the Pearl River environment.
